For the Past 6 Years…

For the past 6 years, Leoma Baptist Church provided an office/storage space for our ministry…AT NO COST! We are forever grateful for Pastor David’s generosity, support and belief in the ministry.

They are building a new children’s/special needs wing, which required the older portion of the building to be demolished. That’s where our office was located.

Since we moved out in May, I have been working from our small closet. Let me explain.

As you may know, Tim and I moved in with his 90 year old parents 6 1/2 years ago to take care of them and their property. Our living space consists of a master bedroom, bathroom and small closet. Our cramped space is now even more crowded with all of our ministry stuff packed in.

Now for the Exciting News!

We believe the Lord is leading us to step out in faith to purchase a shed to serve as our new office/writing cabin! This will provide growth opportunities we just don’t have the capacity (or privacy) to do now:

  • Confidential space for one-on-one meetings with clients

  • Quiet, private space for my After Abortion Line weekly shift, talking with struggling clients from around the world

  • More conducive for zoom meetings (hanging clothes in the background doesn’t lend to professionalism!)

  • Refuge for intentional time alone with God

  • Peaceful, non-cluttered space to foster a creative writing atmosphere (we’re working on our next book!)

  • Storage of and easy access to retreat supplies (large wooden cross, TV, supply totes, etc) and display table supplies (table top posters, shelving for book display, books, promo materials, t-shirt manequin, etc)

Here’s the Cost Breakdown:

  • $6,400 10’ x 22’ cabin

  • $2,250 Finish interior (walls, flooring, lighting, insulation, paint, WiFi)

  • $2,000 Electrician to run lines to the shed

  • $825 Heating/cooling unit

  • $11,475 Total Estimate

Our goal is to raise $11,475 by November 11!

God faithfully provided free office space through the church, saving us an estimated $36,000! (6 years x 12 months x $500/mth).

Now, we believe He will provide every dollar needed for this new space! He is Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide.
