One Couple’s Healing Journey After Abortion
By Debbie and Tim Shultz
"I recommend this book to anyone who has gone through an abortion or knows someone who has.”
- Penny
Have you been healed from the devastation of abortion? Or still suffering? Through their personal story of abortion and healing, Debbie and Tim Shultz share how they broke free from the prison of abortion, navigated the challenges along the journey, and emerged in freedom as loved, forgiven, healed, transformed children of God.
If you are struggling in silent pain, suffering under the cloak of shame, guilt and condemnation - or know someone who is - this book is for you. Within these pages, you will find hope for your healing, courage to take the next step, and truth to set you free.

How we accomplish our mission:
Experiential Retreat Training
For several years, I have felt God calling me to train other facilitators on how to lead abortion healing retreats. After experiencing the love and power of God break the chains of shame and unworthiness in my own life in 2002, at a weekend “Encounter,” I have never been the same!
I had kept my abortion secret hidden for 15 years, while attending church every Sunday and serving on every committee possible. My marriage was hanging on by a thread. I suffered under the heaviness of condemnation.

Our Story
In 1986, my world came crashing down when the nurse told me, “Congratulations, you’re pregnant.” Words that were intended to bring happiness and joy, brought fear and devastation.
As a 20 year old, unmarried, Christian couple, my fiancé and I were so afraid of what people would think of us and of losing my college scholarship, we chose to have an abortion.
Believing the lie that everything would be ok and no one would have to know, we buried our secret, never speaking of it.
